Join me in my Sussex studio & up on the South Downs to explore the wonderful world of wild colour.
As a pattern maker, textile printer and natural dyer – I am passionate about slow, local production that creates beautiful fabric and is kind to our environment. I have been running these small seasonal workshops for a number of years – and the plants and colours we discover are always wonderful fresh and surprising.
In this workshop you will learn how to identify a range of seasonal dye plants in different local habitats – the woods, the Downs and down by the River Adur, cook up dye baths and experiment with a range of different mordants and afterbaths. These will enable you to produce a wonderfully varied range of colours from just one plant and ultimately develop your own colour palette with a natural dye recipe book to take away.

Workshop numbers are limited to 2/3 people and the cost is £120 with all materials included – including fabric and a delicious lunch.
