Block printing with natural dyes ONLINE Workshop 2024 21st & 28th September

This course will enable you to explore the world of hand block printing and pattern making with natural dyes. Over the course of the two sessions you will learn how design & cut your own blocks,  mordant your fabrics, make print pastes with natural dyes and print & finish your own fabric.

I’ve developed this online version of my regular course in response to popular demand from those of you who can’t join me in my South Downs workshop. The workshop is the product of many years of commercial experience – producing fabrics block printed with natural dyes for clients and also the product of many years of sharing my practice – passing these skills on is such an important of what I do.

With your purchase you will receive all the recipes, materials list you need as well as ongoing support direct from me.

If you are in the UK, I will send you most of the materials so that you can get started quickly & easily. If you are not in the UK – don’t worry, I will help you source what you need.

Your equipment pack will include – fabric, dye, printing medium, printing blocks and your very own special piece of my fabric to get you started.

The goal of this workshop is to get you printing your own beautiful fabrics in a way that is kind and gentle to the environment – that is my passion and one that I want to share with you.
