We are delighted to supply you with hand block-printed fabric lengths for you to use in home furnishing projects – whether for blinds, curtains, tablecloths or upholstery.
All our block-printed fabric is hand-printed using natural dyes which we forage from the fields and hedgerows around us in West Sussex. We print onto organic hemp cloth which is strong & smooth – perfect for any interiors project.
Each piece of fabric is a one off creation, the product of a passing season and the printers hand and skill. Variety and inconsistency are an essential part of how we make our fabric and one we hope you will love.
We are proud to be pioneering the revivial of this ancient craft that enables us to make beautiful fabric in a way that is kind to the environment.
Our patterns, including our Sussex Oak leaf design are inspired by the historic patterns of the churches along the South Downs Way, near my workshop in West Sussex.
Sussex Oak is inspired by the Romanesque stone carving in the church of St Andrew and St Cuthman in Steyning.
